The story revolves around Sebastian (Gosling) and Mia (Stone), who are both at the onset of reaching their Hollywood dreams. With destiny playing its cards, both characters' paths kept crossing in the craziest ways possible. Eventually, they realized they share the same love and passion.
La La Land's storyline is a typical story and musical about dreamers and artists who wish to test their luck in the "City of Stars." Let's say, Burlesque and Rock of Ages.
What's different is the intensity and approach in conveying the message. It's definitely a plus point that Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, who have already proven their on-screen chemistry and versatility, are on it.
It's a story about dancing and singing our way through our frustrations, rejections, what-ifs, sacrifices, dreams and achievements.
I don't know if it's just the perfect sad music or the emotional side of me, but this movie made me cry. Because it stirred the dreamer in me for days, I'll give this a 5/5.
I've watched it yesterday na Let. I love it pero I was waiting sa part na muhilak ko pero wala. Haha I guess manhid ko. LOL. Pero "feels" kaayo ang movie.
